Popped in today for some takeaway cake. The coconut cake is just utterly divine. I’m now addicted and need to go back far more often. The lovely lady serving behind the counter is so friendly and warm too, like a warm hug on a tough day, just even a few words from a kind person can really lift your day.

What a GEM! I've travelled to London for a short conference and was brought to this lovely Cafe. The staff was friendly and so welcoming. They recommended the scotch egg and chicken& ham Cornish pasty. Yum! I had a mocha while my friend (local) had an Americano. I reckon I would be a regular if I lived here. 5 stars Totally recommend if you are passing through and need a break.
I have had many a coffee & cake & a few lunches at the P & A & have never been let down. Always good service, good food & drinks & today they included Bowie in their playlist, so have gone even further up in my estimations!!

Delicious food! We chose the tuna and cheese jacket potato and they did not disappoint. The carrot cake we took to take away also was exceptional. My only comment would be around the large cost for dairy alternative for the coffees we had but apart from that, a lovely spot for lunch with lots of options
Alan provided the most amazing canapes for my Christmas drinks’ party... crostinis were beautifully presented and so tasty. I received so many compliments from my guests. Alan even hand delivered to my house. Thank you! I wholeheartedly recommend
